Details:

The 215 is a luxury full function high-end mechanical calculator. To minimize vibrations of the casing the machine is internally mounted on heavy springs.

The 215 is identical to the Rheinmetall SAR II-c K..

Usage:

Addition/subtraction:

Enter a number and hit the “+” or the “-” key.

Multiplication:

Enter the first number on the dedicated 10-digit keyboard.  Enter the second number on the main keyboard .  Multiplication is executed when the ‘X’ or ‘X-’ key are pushed.

Division          

Only the main keyboard is used.  Enter the first number and hit the “v:” key.  Next enter the second number. When the  “:” key is pushed the division is executed. The result appears in the upper register.
